After many years of publishing seasonal trend reports, Pattern Curator is evolving into a new platform and advisory service — designed for how designers research and develop ideas today.
This shift is also a return to where it began: an endless stream of inspiration for color, print, and pattern.
The new Curatorial Intelligence (CI) platform builds on that foundation, integrating AI as a tool for interpretation — not direction — creating space to see more, think differently, and develop ideas from your own point of view.
At its core, CI is a growing library of curated moodboards supported by editorial interpretation and AI-assisted insights — designed to help designers, artists, and creative teams explore direction with more depth and clarity. I still believe in the value of observation and data — but only when it supports creativity, not when it replaces it.
Alongside the platform, Pattern Curator Advisory offers more personalized guidance — translating cultural signals, design insight, and emerging ideas into meaningful creative direction.
The original Trend Service will close on April 1 as we transition fully to this new approach.
