A little bit punk, a little bit classic. A possible neutral print layout and also a bold statement. Checker boards have been showing up more lately on the runways. Not just for a juniors or mens market. Checker boards are showing up on the runways in elevated brands and as interior home details. For Fall / Winter 2019 in different iterations as well as the classic 2-color layout. While this is some what of a ‘Reimagined Classic’ macro trend, we are seeing this aesthetic showing up as ‘Everything Goes’ because of its application and how versatile of a print idea this is. Color use is high contrast - black & white, truly optic.
