SIMPLE DOT

Dots all over. Seeing this on the runways in all different aesthetics. Different scale variations and different layouts - all with a regimented, purposeful layout. It’s not the dot alone that makes the statement. When looking at the pattern itself, it’s quite simple. Together with the detailing and styling of each outfit is what makes this feel updated and done differently than the past. Used to be so classic, conservative & understated. Not for the Fall 19 runways or seasons to come. The dot is making more of a visual statement that’s more whimsical, yet a little rigid and repetitive. Any scale variations or texture added to the dot pattern is also done a uniform way. With all of these expected qualities, these dotted patterns on the runway are a beautiful compliment to any print collection and strong enough to be its own statement.
